Class Announcements
Drama Boosters!
Drama Boosters is an organization of parents who help assist Mrs. Roberts and the drama program by chaperoning field trips, assisting backstage and attending meetings once a month.
Our next meeting will be on Thursday, November 5th from 7-8 pm in room S-4. Your help is so needed.
This meeting will only last one hour! Snacks are provided. If you need to bring your litttle ones in order to attend, that is fine!
Drama Exploratory
Drama Exploratory is a fun way for students to learn the basics of Drama. Drama Exploratory is offered to seventh and eigth grade students. Seventh and eighth grades will rotate on a semester rotatation taking drama and woodshop class.

While in Drama, students will learn the basics of drama by playing theatre games and working in groups. All students will learn pantomime (acting without words), how their voice onstage, and the chance to particpate in improvs (like "Whose Line Is It Anyway?") All drama students will learn how to work together in a team.
Seventh graders will read plays, make sock puppets, and record a radio play, along with other fun skits and projects. Eighth graders will read The Diary of Anne Frank, study Shakespeare and create a music video.
I hope to meet all of the Exploratory students parents on Open House Night on Wednesday, August 29th.
